The LT-42WX70 features recommended preset modes that allow the user to enjoy their content without hassle. Photo Pro mode is set for accurate reproduction of both sRGB and Adobe RGB photographs. Monitor mode is optimised for precise reproduction and analysis of moving pictures as raw data, whereas Theater mode is recommended for watching movies. For everyday use, use Standard mode to view broadcast programmes, and Dynamic mode to watch videos in a brightly-lit room, while Game mode is optimised for delay-free action on the screen.
Manual Picture Adjustment Properties (x52)
JVC further invites the user to enjoy the freedom of extensive picture adjustments with Manual Picture Adjustment Properties. To achieve preferred colours of the connected sources individually, the LT-42WX70 features many parameters that can be individually adjusted in the menu. For example, individual Colour Management Settings of tints and colours such as red, yellow, green, and cyan as well as skin tone tint can be adjusted on-screen using the supplied remote controller. Customised settings can be saved and stored.

The slim and lightweight LT-42WX70 has a 12kg cabinet and thin bezel with a black leather-like texture that help to further enhance its sleek and stylish appearance. The flat rear panel is completely finished in metallic silver without any visible assembly screws except for the VESA mount, offering exceptional installation freedom to let the user express his or her lifestyle. The supplied stereo speaker that runs across below the monitor can be removed if an external sound source is to be used. The monitor is supported by a curved pedestal-style swiveling stand with 3-step height adjustment. For viewing TV broadcasting, simply connect to a set-top box.
